The grants are awarded in three artistic categories which rotate from year to year; the categories for the grant program’s inaugural year were Visual Art, Music, and Literary Art. Three selected award winners were each granted $2,000, with a fourth winner in the Visual Art category awarded an artist residency with the La Napoule Art Foundation in the south of France. The awards are judged by a panel of artists who have achieved in each respective field.
