Child Care Provider - Must be a licensed in-home child day care provider or independently owned and operated child day care center. Must be able to provide State of Maryland Division of Early Childhood License. This includes: • Day Care Centers • Family Child Care Home – A provider who cares for up to eight children with no more than two under the age of two. The providers' own children under the age of six are counted within the group of eight. • Large Family Child Care Home – A provider who cares for between nine and 12 children with no more than four under the age of two. The providers' own children under the age of six are counted within the group of nine to 12.
