You will be fully supported by our online platform, including data and technology that ensures the highest care plan adherence. Your primary role is listening openly to their challenges while keeping them motivated, focused, and energized. Our ideal behavioral health coach is someone who has:

As part of your role, you will:
Guiding members with anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and/or depression to optimal health and well-being.
Working with members to mitigate impacts of social factors on health and functional status
Engaging members through live interactions using video conference and text messaging
Assisting members with mobile care management device compliance
Establishing and creating care plans that enable members to achieve their goals
engage members in a collaborative relationship, empowering them to manage their psycho-social, physical and environmental health to improve and maintain their well-being
Developing collaborative relationships with members care team
Maximizing member’s access to available resources
Provide education to members to assist in healthy life-long changes
It will help if your availability is flexible, with occasional time required on evenings.
Required
MA/MS in Psychology; or BA/BS Degree in Psychology, Community Health, Public Health, Health Promotion, Behavioral Health, Health Education, RN in Psychiatric, or similar with related experience
Health coaching certification with accreditation (i.e. CHES, ACE, ICF, or similar)
Minimum 2-3 years of health coaching experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience addressing behavioral health, medical, and life transition challenges with clients.
Minimum 2-3 years experience coaching or counseling adults within a mental health capacity.
1-3 year(s) of experience in chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, congestive health failure, asthma, COPD, weight management, behavioral health)
Must possess valid Business License (e.g. LLC, etc)
Must possess valid & current Workers Compensation insurance policy
Must possess valid & current Business Liability Insurance policy
Proficiency with technology/computers in web based applications
Ability to work closely with member and care team
Exceptional interpersonal, organization and communication skills required
Ability to manage workload in an independent setting
Preferred
Medicaid and/or Medicare knowledge
BCC or ICF Certification with a Psychology degree helpful, but not required.
1-3 year(s) of experience in public health, community health, behavioral health, health education or similar
Masters degree
