Vector BioMed is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bioprocess Associate/Senior Bioprocess Associate to join their dedicated team in building capability to serve the rapidly expanding gene therapy market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotech, cell and gene therapy, with an emphasis on upstream and downstream viral vector manufacturing in Biotech Pharma. The Bioprocess Associate/Senior Bioprocess Associate will be responsible for supporting the set-up of lab operations, equipment order and installation, and qualification of new SOPs. They will execute upstream and downstream technologies related to LVV manufacturing, including shake flasks and single-use bioreactors, and chromatography, ion exchange, and filtration processes. The Bioprocess Associate/Senior Bioprocess Associate will also support process transfer and creation of manufacturing batch records, participate in the production of pre-clinical and GMP vector batches, and follow written procedures, SOPs, and batch records while adhering to good documentation practices.
