For more than 300 years, Snow Hill has been an incubator for business. The Pocomoke River and surrounding farmland were the dominant forces that made our town a commercial center. Our business community occupies century-old buildings adjacent to the river. A self-sustaining commercial hub that once catered to farmers, the growing variety of enterprises -- including a restaurant, ice cream shop, artist studios and B&Bs -- also serve our visitors searching to recharge.
As a Chamber, we enjoy support from nearly all of Snow Hill's businesses and organizations -- creating a synergy that allows a small group of people to create an active downtown and slate of events that benefits our members.
