Long Description
The Arts Council of Calvert County offers up to a $500 Arts in Education grant to every qualified arts-related teacher in Calvert County. These grants are to support artistic presentations that further the cultural arts development of students in state chartered public and private schools located in Calvert County, Maryland.
Funding for the Arts in Education program is restricted to programming and presentations by Maryland artists who must meet high educational goals and professional standards. A list of Maryland artists is available on the Maryland State Arts Council .

The Arts Council of Calvert County was pleased to award $25,000 in 46 Arts in Education grants this year. Schools across Calvert County benefit from this program which provides funds to help teachers in art, music, theatre and dance create educational opportunities for their students by bringing the arts and artists to their classroom.
